Coach Williams has been coaching for over 16 years. Allan started his career with Broward Community College coaching where, for 3 years, Allan served as the Head Age Group Coach and assistant to the college team. In 1994 Allan would join the Parkway Swim Club in St. Louis for four years as the Senior Coach and Masters Coach. During Allan’s time at Parkway the team had much success. Team size grew to one of the biggest in the country (over 500 swimmers) and Allan enjoyed many Nationally Ranked swimmers, Sectional qualifiers and his first number 1 ranked swimmer in the country. Coach Allan returned to Florida in 1998 to run the senior program at Pine Crest - Boca Raton where he was the coach for six years. During his time there, Coach Williams developed some of the areas most accomplished swimmers, enjoying a Junior National Champion, many high school state champions, National and Junior National qualifiers.

Since establishing the Florida Atlantic Swim Team in 2004 Coach Allan has enjoyed success with the Boca Raton High School helping their boys finish 3rd and the girls win a recent High School 2A State Championship in 2007 and the Florida Atlantic Swim Team has managed to finish in the top 10 of both the local Junior Olympics and SE Sectional Championship since its inception. FAST has consistently finished higher than any other Palm Beach County swim team at local championships and has placed more swimmers at the National level than any other Palm Beach County team.

Over the many years as a coach Allan has had:

• Several finalists and qualifiers for USA Swimming National and Junior National levels.
• Many high school state champions in both Missouri and Florida.
• Played lead role on coaching staff of the Boca Raton High School swim team which finished 2nd in 2005 and 2006 at the FHSAA Championships and winning State Championships in 2007.
• Over 35 National Age Group top 16 swimmers ranked nationally including several relays ranked first in the country.
• Had 6 relay teams set National Age Group records in the USA in 2001, 2002 and 2004.
• Over 18 All-American Swimmers.
• USA Olympic trial qualifiers in 2000, 2004 and currently has swimmers qualified for 2008 USA Olympic Trials.
• Coach Allan Williams is an ASCA Level 5:4 certified coach and has been the owner operator of FAST since 2004.
• Coach Williams also serves as a Member of the Board with Florida Gold Coast.
