USA Swimming Announces 2008 FINA Short Course World Championships Team
ELLE WEBERG (FAST-FG) Named to USA Swimming National Team!!
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Twenty-six of the nation's top swimmers, including five Olympians will travel to Manchester, England to represent Team USA at the 2008 FINA Short Course World Championships, April 9-13.
The U.S. swimmers selected to compete at the Short Course World Championships were chosen based upon their performance at the ConocoPhillips USA Swimming Short Course National Championships, Nov. 29-Dec. 1. The Short Course World Championships mark the final international competition for U.S. pool swimmers prior to the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
Elle Weberg will represent the USA in the 100 and 200 Breaststroke events in England.
FAST SWIMMER REPRESENTS USA AT GAMES IN CHINA!
Elle Weberg represented the United States as a part of the USA National Team at the World University Games held in Bangkok, China, earlier this August. Elle placed 6th in both the 200 and 100 Breaststrokes and 5th in the 50 Breaststroke. Elle was also a part of the USA 400 medley relay team which placed 2nd, earning Elle a silver medal.
